This summer, I will be traveling to Thailand to intern with the Burmese Women’s Union (BWU) for 6 weeks with three other Whitman students. We have prepared some ideas to expand upon GlobeMed at Whitman’s projects funded at BWU, but mostly, I am excited to just learn as much as possible about Burmese culture. 🙂
